Shira Crohn is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about her. Finding someone who is both clinically sharp and genuinely compassionate is rare, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found that combination here. What stands out most is how thoughtful and collaborative the care feels. I never feel rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a checklist. Medication decisions are discussed carefully, questions are welcomed, and there is real attention paid to nuance, side effects, sleep, stress, and the bigger picture of what is actually happening in my life. I also deeply appreciate the balance between professionalism and humanity. Mental health treatment can make people feel vulnerable, and it matters enormously to feel respected, listened to, and taken seriously. I've worked with enough providers over the years to know how unusual this level of care is. Highly recommend.
I am a client of Shira Crohn's and l can't recommend her enough! She is a thoughtful, compassionate and highly skilled practitioner. I have benefitted enormously from her guidance and care. If you want someone who will engage you and guide you in your journey, then Shira will partner with you to do just that.
Shira is the best psychiatrist I've ever worked with. She is empathetic and kind, but not a dunce or a pushover either. We've talked about various aspects of my treatment, and she has worked with me to find the right combination that works (which we did!) She's just good people, not there to cram as many appointments in as possible, just to run off to golf or something. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
